New Resource for Cherokee Nation Legislation - Thursday, February 24, 2011

There is now a new resource to research and view legislation of the Cherokee Nation. The Cherokee Nation Tribal Council has finished work on their new website: Legislative Research Center. This site is searchable by topic, date, actual legislative/resolution number, or by CNCA number.

Recodification is stil in process with the expectations of being finished later this spring. CNCA volumes will be available after that project has been completed.

Availability of Cherokee Nation Code Annotated - Thursday, June 11, 2009

Currently the code is under revision. At this time the only way to review the CNCA is to come here to the Cherokee Nation Courthouse. There are a few of the state universities and colleges that have copies; you would have to check with their libraries to verify this.
